Fractional Finance is an outsourced service model, allowing SMEs or growing businesses to pay for part-time finance professionals to support their business, instead of hiring an in-house team and/or bookkeeper. We will run your finance function on a day-to-day basis, and manage the month-end and year-end close and any other deadlines.
Founder Joseph Arundel has over 10 years of experience across the finance function, leading teams in the UK and overseas: Switzerland, Singapore and Dubai. We pride ourselves on accuracy, clarity, and the right level of oversight for each client.
Your business will get the same support that large businesses receive from their in-house teams. The difference is you pay a fraction of the price. While we will work 'part-time', we are working full time, so you will feel like you have a full-time team. We can scale our services up and down as your business requires, and we don't limit time on a monthly basis.

You'll have a dedicated Financial Controller leading your account, overseeing the delivery team and acting as your trusted advisor. Alongside operational oversight, they provide forward-looking forecasts, cash flow planning, business analysis, and experienced financial guidance whenever you need it.

We prepare, send and chase your sales invoices so the right information reaches the right people at the right time. We follow up properly to reduce the risk of late or non-payment, and keep every receipt booked correctly in your ledgers.
Suppliers checked and paid on time in a process that works for you
We process your purchase invoices, book them correctly in your ledgers, and manage payment runs in a time frame agreed by you. We carry out basic supplier checks, ensuring legitimacy of bank details and supplier information before payments are made.
Reconciled books, monthly packs, year-end ready
We reconcile your bank accounts and book key entries such as accruals and prepayments every month. We produce monthly management packs, prepare the books for year-end, manage all deadlines, and prepare quarterly VAT returns.
You get a part-time, fully managed finance team. Instead of hiring a controller, an AR clerk, an AP clerk and a finance director in-house, you pay for a slice of each. The cost is a fraction of a full team and you avoid Employer's NIC, holiday cover and pension contributions.

No. We work month to month with 30 days' notice on either side. Most clients stay because the service is good, not because the contract holds them.
Usually no. We run your day-to-day finance function and prepare clean year-end information for your accountant to file. If you want us to introduce a partner accountant, we can do that too.
